Hi, I’m Teddi B.

My “body of work” really began at a very young age spending time in the gym with her dad. “He was my first inspiration and introduction to fitness. He snuck me in the gym and taught me everything”. I also ran track in High School and College. My favorite class in high school was weight lifting – I was the only girl. (Note that I was wearing a half shirt, gym shorts with pantyhose and the old school nike sneakers.) Fast forward to college where I began bodybuilding and training a group of students in the afternoons. This was where I spent most of my time when I wasn’t studying or at a dance club.

My original training job was at the OG Equinox in NYC – the very first one ever. It was a side gig mostly because I wanted a place to work out and it was too expensive to join. But after a few weeks there, I quit my law job and became a full time trainer. This was truly where my love for all things fitness really grew. I taught from the crack of dawn until late into the evening every day and began building my foundation as a trainer. This was way back in the 90’s when no one even knew that personal training was a thing. After many years at Equinox and dozens of certifications and continuing education, I began dedicating my focus to pregnant and young mothers as I was pregnant with my own children and fascinated by the suggestion that pregnant woman should not work out. I used my own body as a guinea pig and with the help of my OB at the time – created programming for pregnant and postpartum women.

I moved to Denver and with all my NYC experience began teaching stroller classes for new moms and eventually opened a studio dedicated to young moms. This worked well for me as I was a young mom too and I could relate to everything that was happening to these women. From post partum depression, to figuring out our new mom bodies, dealing with marriages at that stage of life, and enjoying the camaraderie of being with women all at the same stage of life. I also had childcare, which was really, at the moment, ground breaking.

My training style has followed the every changing science of women’s bodies as they age and has followed every stage of my own life. Now in the midst of menopause in my mid 50s, I have dedicated my self to researching and doing programming that focuses now on women as they hit middle age and beyond. We are far from being put to pasture and I’m keen to prove it.

You can find me now in Mexico where my husband and I relocated and leading retreats, teaching my bootcamps and training personally online and locally. I remain dedicated to the science of exercise and nutrition for women as we get older and am continually improving my training regiments based on real life experience with my own body and all my clients.

After two knee replacements and a hip replacement, I can definitely say this: Aging is not for wimps. The only way to proceed is to keep moving and stay strong physically and mentally if you want to age gorgeously.

I hope you enjoy our on demand classes. I have designed each and every one with the mindset of how I would train you one on one. Not only do I want you to work out hard, but to work out properly and safely. Give it a shot for a few weeks – I bet you’ll love how you feel and look. And if you ever have any questions, concerns or comments, please reach out to me at [email protected].
